The Architectural Brief
The objective for this premium entertainment lounge was to engineer a clean, floating media console system that completely eliminates visible structural clutter. The primary challenge centered on cable management and hardware housing. The client required a monolithic, wall-mounted console that could support integrated AV equipment and extensive electronic components while maintaining an completely clean, wire-free visual field.
The Technical Strategy
To execute a truly seamless floating appearance, our engineering team designed a custom internal heavy-duty steel sub-frame anchored directly into the room's main masonry wall. This hidden cantilever system allows the cabinetry to hang effortlessly without any visible bottom support or legs. Prior to fabrication, digital laser scanners were deployed to ensure the backdrop wall surface was perfectly plumb, allowing the large-format panelling to align flawlessly with zero gaps.

Materials were meticulously curated to establish a striking textural contrast and ensure absolute structural longevity:
The Backdrop Panel: Crafted from a seamless fluted oak wood panel layout, creating a deep, architectural vertical rhythm that elongates the room's height.
Console Enclosure: Fabricated using premium, high-density matte lacquer boards finished in an anti-fingerprint charcoal coating.
The Base Surface: Highlighted by a thin-slab monolithic marble plinth overlay, providing a luxurious, solid tactile top surface.
Functional Hardware: Fitted with heavy-duty Blum Tip-On push-to-open mechanical drawer systems, removing the need for external handles and keeping the facade completely flat.
Millimetric Precision & Details
The definitive highlight of this project is its invisible wire management infrastructure. A continuous 50mm integrated technical chase was engineered hidden directly behind the fluted backdrop panels. This specialized internal channel routes all AV cables, fiber optics, and power grids completely unseen from the television down into the ventilated lower cabinet units.
The lower console boxes feature precision CNC-milled ventilation slots along the rear spine, ensuring constant heat dissipation for enclosed electronic systems without compromising the exterior minimalist silhouette.
