Welcome to Modulist ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing our website, using our digital platforms, or engaging our custom interior design, millwork, and spatial fabrication services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service. Please review these terms carefully.
1. Scope of Services
Modulist provides high-end contemporary spatial solutions, custom modular cabinetry, architectural millwork, and tailored installation services. Every project is engineered to specific structural dimensions and executed under strict technical quality control.
2. Design Consultation & Deposit Policy
Preliminary Phase: To initiate spatial planning, site measurements, and personalized 3D renders, a non-refundable design consultation deposit is required.
Invoice Crediting: Upon project confirmation and structural sign-off, the full amount of this preliminary deposit will be credited back and deducted from your ultimate fabrication invoice.
3. Blueprint Finalization & CNC Fabrication
Technical Sign-off: Production begins only after the client or external principal architect formally signs off on the millimetric shop drawings and material specifications.
Automated Production: Because our automated CNC machinery directly processes finalized digital blueprints, no structural or material changes can be accepted after fabrication has commenced.
Post-Finalization Revisions: Minor design modifications requested within 48 hours of sign-off may be reviewed, but any late revisions requested post-fabrication will incur mandatory component, material waste, and labor costs.
4. Production & On-Site Installation Timelines
Standard Timeline: Our standard factory fabrication phase spans approximately 4 to 6 weeks from technical sign-off, subject to material availability and project complexity.
Site Readiness: The client is responsible for ensuring the physical installation site is structurally ready, clear of obstructions, and accessible for our logistics team. Delays caused by site unreadiness may result in rescheduled installation dates and temporary storage fees.
Execution: All installations are handled exclusively by our certified mechanical carpenters to maintain strict geometric alignments and tight gap tolerances.
5. Payment Terms & Ownership of Goods
Payment Schedule: Projects are billed according to the structured milestone payment terms outlined in your specific project contract (typically divided into a mobilization deposit, mid-production milestone, and final post-installation balance).
Retention of Title: All manufactured cabinetry, panels, and integrated hardware remain the legal property of Modulist until the final project invoice balance is paid in full.
6. Warranty & Structural Craftsman Commitments
2-Year Warranty: We provide an elite 2-year structural craftsmanship warranty from the date of installation completion. This covers alignment stability, joint integrity, and manufacturing defects.
Exclusions: This warranty strictly excludes damages resulting from structural building movement, water leakage caused by external plumbing issues, accidental impacts, site humidity alterations, or unauthorized third-party modifications.
Hardware Components: Premium integrated moving hardware (such as tracks and hinges) carries additional long-term warranties issued directly by their respective manufacturers (Blum/Hettich).
7. Limitation of Liability
Modulist shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from site delays caused by external contractors, force majeure events, or uncommunicated structural anomalies within the client's property walls.
8. Governing Law
These Terms of Service and any separate project contracts shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which our primary regional business operations are registered.
